Master Rituals
Master Rituals are considered the cream of the crop. If you manage to get your hands on any of these rarer largely lost pages you are considered to be a Master at your craft. These are serious and dangerous rituals that can start an avalanche of problems for your character if they are not responsible and covering every eventuality in the event something goes wrong. Redundancy for safe fails is the theme here. You may want to prep secondary rituals and cautions. Each of these rituals must be purchased by players. Once you own the ritual it is your to use as many times as you want within the constraints of realism and recovery. You may do rituals on other people's behalf while never revealing your secrets. You may cast these rituals on the behalf or favor for someone else, but they may not borrow the page or blade to try themselves. Incantations are generic, you need not worry about the specifics of what is said, simply role play that your character recited the incation along with the rest of the steps per ritual. (10 Points) Summon Restless, Umbral or Planeswalker. Tools & Ingredients.
Description: Summon another player characters Umbral, Planeswalker or Restless character, or summon an NPC to your location. You will need to create a blood ritualistic circle with the casters own blood approximately 6 feet in circumference wide using the Bane Blade. You will need an item that belongs to the target to speak the incantation upon. You will need a two ounce vial of liquid fire depending on what race you're summoning. The liquid fire will need to be painstakingly poured around the inside of the blood circle. A second incantation will be chanted three times igniting the fire and summoning the being. The target will be trapped in that ring of fire until the blood circle is broken causing the fire to go out and the target free roam to attack or escape. ( 5 points) Terminal Illness Cure Tools & Ingredients
Description: Cure someone of a terminal illness, expel it fully from their body never to return. With the Bane Blade enough blood must be spilled by the caster to use as paint. The grace must be mixed into the blood. An enochian rune must be painted on the chest of the sickly individual. Once the incantation is spoken the run will burn into the victims flesh, absorbing the illness and burning off into nothingness. A scar in the shape of the rune will remain. ( 10 Points) Planeswalker Immunity Tools & Ingredients
Description: Ward yourself or an individual from being touched by a Planeswalker and influenced by a Planeswalker compulsion racial skill. Mix all ingredients into a bowl and set aflame with Nether Fire. Take ashes and mix with water to make a tonic that is consumed by mouth. After the tonic is swallowed read the incantation from the book. It is a spell originally from another book called the Book of the Damned, there are few known spells from this book. Thankfully your book has it. The subject who drank the tonic will experience a burning pain that feels as if it ignited every fiber of their being on fire. It is said to be so intense that it usually induced vomiting and unconsciousness. The subjects entire skeletal structure will become marked with the spell in the form of a runic alphabet from the book of the damned. This is something that will show up on x-rays etc or if bone is exposed through flesh. One must take caution to keep the secret hidden. This ritual will not work on Umbral or Umbral Hybrids. |
(5 points) Soldiers of Purgatory Tools & Ingredients
Description: During a full moon you can perform a ritual to open a rift into Purgatory to call forth malicious ghosts and poltergeists to haunt a target for 3 days and 3 nights. The ritual requires something connected to the target, such as a lock of hair, an item of clothing, a cherished possession, or a photograph. To perform the ritual the casters blood must spill from the Bane Blade onto items chosen that connect to the target while speaking the incantation. A small rift will opening only allowing a few malicious ghosts to exit. They will await direct orders then fly off to do the casters bidding. ( 5 points) Reveal Path Tools & Ingredients
Description: Track down a target up to a 100 mile radios. Place the item belonging to the target into a bowl with the root dust and drops of casters blood and set on fire. Gather the left over ashes and toss it haphazardly over the a open map of the area the subject is believed to be in within that 100 mile radios. Light the center of the map on fire. The dust will help burn lines in the map that look like the reaching root system of a centenarian tree, blazing lead lines toward the area the target is in as close as a 20 meter radios.
